Aha! Hack: Genius DIY Wall Pegs Made from Toy Blocks

Here’s a clever DIY wall pegs idea from German design studio Snug, using an unexpected material: wooden toy blocks. You can re-create the pegs in less than an hour—my kind of DIY project.

1. Gather the materials.

You will need a set of wooden Toy Blocks ($16.43 via Amazon), a drill, screws, paint, and masking tape.

2. Prep the pegs.

Leave the blocks in natural wood or paint in a preferred color. Drill a hole into the back of the block and insert the screw.

3. Screw into the wall.

Screw the peg into a predrilled hole in the wall. Here’s a closeup of the surprisingly sophisticated-looking hallway block system.
