New & Noteworthy: Wall-Mounted Bedside Shelves, Color Optional

Until recently, Toronto furniture maker Dustin Kroft was focused on large furniture—tables, chairs, cabinets, and floor mirrors. Then while he was designing a nightstand, he became fixated on “the idea of being able to clean around it.” So Kroft fashioned a wall-mounted version with a single drawer and integrated cord management. “I like to create order so I’m drawn to making things that help others do the same,” says Kroft. Here’s a look at the different versions of the floating drawer, aptly named Buoy. Contact Kroft for ordering information.
