High/Low: Wall-Mounted Midcentury Modular Shelving

We’re fans of the Royal Shelving System, devised by Danish designer Poul Cadovius in 1948 and available from Design Within Reach, so we took notice when Ikea recently introduced a look-alike (but inevitably less elegant system) modular system. Here’s a look.

High
