Our admiration for the all-mighty pegboard knows no bounds. In the garage, it can organize gardening and handyman tools; in a mudroom, coats and accessories; and in the kitchen, pots, pans, and other cooking essentials. It is truly a storage workhorse.

And now we have even more reason to admire it. We were recently reminded of a Cape Cod kitchen from the Remodelista archives with simple but ingenious storage tricks—among them using a pegboard to hang cookware, cups, and…paper towels?
